A site lead outsourcing explains

Joelle’s response to an Arcadius ad several years ago was the beginning of an extraordinary career at Arcadius Outsourcing. She was placed in a American multinational in the healthcare sector and started as “Back-Office Support” where she was responsible for preparing and following up orders. Currently, Joëlle is the site lead of a team of 7 project consultants placed by Arcadius at this client. Joëlle tells us  how the work of this external team is done within an internal team.

Our Arcadius team

In a few years, everything has grown: the size of the company, our team and our responsibilities. Working in a very international team brings us a very rich cultural environment. Our common language is English. We all have very different areas of expertise, but together we make it work.  As part of the technical department that provides support to the entire EMEA region (Europe, Middle East and Africa), we work in a very complex field. During a six-month training course, we acquire a global view of the work, allowing us to be very versatile. Each of us, is also given a specific mission, depending on our own strengths. As site lead, Joëlle also coordinates the team of Arcadius contractors. She coaches them and is in regular contact with Kristel, Arcadius’ CEO.

“Outsourcing is a classic way of working in large companies. The team spirit in our team is very strong. In terms of team cohesion, we get along very well,” says Joëlle.

A strong sense of team cohesion

Because we work for a US company, our team is subject to specific rules for consultants. We do not have access to all information and cannot take the same training courses. We don’t have the same benefits as our colleagues who have a contract with the company itself. However, the sense of solidarity is very strong. In terms of team cohesion, we get along very well. Our colleagues are not just Arcadius consultants from other companies, but mainly colleagues from the team we work with every day. Arcadius Outsourcing organises the necessary training courses for us. During the annual evaluation meeting, we discuss the development prospects for each employee with Arcadius. These are then discussed with the client.

Deep trust and exceptional cooperation

For technical aspects and questions, our contacts are our colleagues in the company. Joelle takes care of everything related to quality, workload and holidays. She is also involved in the evaluations of the Arcadius team members on site. She is in regular contact with Kristel. Everything is running according to schedule. The flow is going very well. Joelle feels very well supported by Arcadius. No question is left unanswered. After so many years, Joëlle is now developing her autonomy and taking her first steps in real team coaching. The excellent profiles Arcadius has recruited will allow the team to grow further in the future.

Joëlle likes to point out that Kristel has taken on a very important role for her. Since Joëlle assumed the role of site lead, Kristel is communicating with her on an equal basis. The respect and value Kristel gives her has given her a huge boost of self-confidence and well-being.
